Brand and Logo Usage Guidelines

IAPC Asia, the Asia Headquarters of the International Association for Professional Certification, has established these “Brand and Logo Usage Guidelines” to maintain the IAPC brand image, the credibility of its certification system, certificate-related rights and interests, and the order of cooperation. These Guidelines apply to all IAPC certificate holders, members, authorized trainers, course founders, partner institutions, training organizations, applicants, and other individuals or organizations authorized by the association to use the IAPC name, logos, certificate designs, or related brand assets.

The IAPC brand and Logo are not merely visual identifiers. They represent the professional certification system, international certificate services, course authorization framework, and professional talent development spirit accumulated by the association over many years. Any use of IAPC brand assets should follow the principles of accuracy, clarity, integrity, legality, and non-misleading representation, so as to avoid causing students, clients, partner organizations, media, or the public to misunderstand the authorization relationship, certificate nature, course validity, or professional qualification.

These Guidelines are intended to help all related persons correctly use IAPC brand assets and jointly protect the lawful rights and interests of IAPC, IAPC Asia, authorized trainers, partner institutions, and students.

1. Scope of IAPC Brand Assets

The IAPC brand assets referred to in these Guidelines include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. The IAPC name.
2. The name International Association for Professional Certification.
3. The Chinese name 美國國際專業人才認證協會.
4. The IAPC Asia name.
5. The Chinese name 美國國際專業人才認證協會亞洲總會.
6. The IAPC Logo, IAPC Asia Logo, and related visual identities.
7. IAPC certificate designs, layouts, seals, signatures, numbering formats, and certificate wording.
8. Names and descriptions related to the IAPC Seven-Level Qualification System.
9. IAPC certification program names, course authorization names, and qualification titles.
10. System names such as IAPC Professional Features Program, PFP, and Equivalent Qualification System, EQS.
11. Official website text, images, forms, application documents, system descriptions, and other related materials.

The above brand assets belong to IAPC, IAPC Asia, or their lawful rights holders. Without formal authorization from the association, no one may use, copy, modify, imitate, resell, authorize others to use, or otherwise use such assets for commercial, enrollment, promotional, or certificate issuance purposes.

2. Who May Use the IAPC Brand and Logo?

Those who meet the following conditions may reasonably use IAPC-related names, Logos, or brand materials within the authorized scope:

1. Certificate holders who have obtained IAPC certificates, when correctly presenting their personal certificate information in résumés, business cards, websites, or professional profiles.
2. Trainers who have obtained IAPC authorization, when conducting course enrollment, course explanations, or certificate application explanations within the scope of authorized courses.
3. Course founders who have passed the IAPC Professional Features Program, PFP, when using related authorization information within the approved course scope.
4. Training institutions, companies, schools, hotels, or partner organizations that have established formal cooperation with IAPC Asia, when using related brand materials within the scope of cooperation.
5. Media organizations, partners, or event organizers that have obtained written consent from IAPC Asia, when using related names and visual materials within the approved scope.

All use must correspond to the actual authorization status, must not exceed the authorized scope, and must not cause third parties to mistakenly believe that the user has trainer qualifications, course authorization, institutional authorization, official representative status, or other cooperation relationships that have not actually been obtained.

3. Permitted Usage Scenarios

Authorized or qualified individuals and institutions may reasonably use IAPC-related names and Logos in the following scenarios according to their actual identity and authorized scope:

1. Personal résumés, professional profiles, business cards, personal websites, or social media platforms.
2. Authorized course enrollment brochures, course posters, registration pages, presentations, or course explanation documents.
3. Partner institution websites, course pages, event pages, or brand cooperation introductions.
4. Course completion ceremonies, lectures, workshops, exhibitions, media events, or formal cooperation activities.
5. Student certificate application explanations, course system introductions, or certification process explanations.
6. Press releases, media reports, interview materials, or cooperation announcements approved by the association.

When using such materials, users should clearly state their actual identity, such as “IAPC Certified Certificate Holder,” “IAPC Authorized Trainer,” “Founder of an IAPC Professional Features Program,” or “IAPC Asia Partner Institution,” and indicate the information according to the actual approved content. The identity must not be arbitrarily expanded or rewritten.

4. Basic Principles for Logo Use

When using the IAPC or IAPC Asia Logo, the following basic principles should be observed:

1. Use the official Logo file provided or approved by the association.
2. Maintain the original proportions of the Logo and do not stretch, compress, or distort it.
3. Keep the Logo clear and recognizable, and do not use blurred, low-resolution, or damaged image files.
4. Maintain appropriate clear space and do not excessively overlap the Logo with other text, graphics, or logos.
5. Place the Logo in a reasonable position and do not make others mistakenly believe that the user is IAPC official headquarters or IAPC Asia itself.
6. Do not change the Logo’s colors, fonts, graphics, proportions, arrangement, or elements without authorization.
7. Do not use the Logo in unlawful, improper, vulgar, misleading, controversial, or reputation-damaging content.

If the IAPC Logo needs to be used for large-format printed materials, media advertisements, event backdrops, formal documents other than certificates, or commercial cooperation promotion, it is recommended to provide the design draft to IAPC Asia in advance for confirmation, so as to ensure that the usage method is consistent with the association’s brand image.

5. Prohibited Uses

No individual or institution may use the IAPC brand, Logo, name, or certificate design in the following ways:

1. Using the IAPC or IAPC Asia name, Logo, or certificate design without authorization.
2. Using the IAPC Logo for unauthorized courses, certificates, products, services, or enrollment advertisements.
3. Modifying, redrawing, altering, imitating, or redesigning the IAPC Logo without authorization.
4. Privately printing, imitating, selling, modifying, or issuing IAPC certificates.
5. Using IAPC certificate designs as templates for certificates, completion certificates, or course certificates of other institutions.
6. Using the IAPC name to imply that one is an official representative, branch, headquarters, authorized center, or examination center without obtaining corresponding authorization.
7. Claiming that a course can issue IAPC international certificates before passing PFP or receiving relevant authorization.
8. Presenting an individual certificate holder qualification as a course authorization qualification.
9. Expanding authorization for a single course to imply that all courses may apply for IAPC certificates.
10. Using expired, invalid, or terminated membership, trainer, or cooperation status for enrollment promotion.
11. Claiming that an IAPC certificate is a government license, academic diploma, statutory occupational qualification, or official examination certificate.
12. Making exaggerated therapeutic claims, guaranteed results, medical claims, or other improper promises in the name of IAPC.
13. Using the IAPC brand in content that violates laws, public order, good morals, or damages professional image.

If the above conduct is verified, IAPC Asia may require immediate cessation of use, modification, or removal of related content, and may take measures such as suspension of services, revocation of authorization, cancellation of qualifications, public clarification, or lawful rights-protection actions depending on the circumstances.

6. Recommended Ways to Properly Indicate IAPC Status

To avoid misunderstanding, the following descriptions are recommended according to actual status:

Actual Status Recommended Description
Individual Certificate Holder IAPC Certified Certificate Holder / IAPC Certified Practitioner / IAPC Certified Professional
Authorized Trainer IAPC Authorized Trainer / IAPC Certified International Trainer for [Course Name]
Professional Features Program Founder Founder of the IAPC Certified Professional Features Program for [Course Name]
Partner Institution IAPC Asia Partner Institution
Authorized Course This course is an IAPC-certified and authorized Professional Features Program. Students who complete the course requirements may apply for IAPC international certificates in accordance with relevant regulations.

Actual use should be based on the certificate, authorization document, or content approved by IAPC Asia. If you are unsure how to indicate your status, it is recommended to confirm with IAPC Asia in advance.

7. Suggested Wording for Course Enrollment Copy

Authorized trainers or partner institutions may use clear, steady, and factual wording when recruiting students. For example:

1. This course is certified and authorized by IAPC. Students who complete the course requirements may apply for IAPC international certificates in accordance with relevant regulations.
2. This course is taught by an IAPC authorized trainer and conducted according to the approved course structure.
3. After completing the required course hours, learning content, and relevant requirements, students may receive assistance from the authorized trainer in applying for IAPC international certificates.
4. IAPC certificates are professional competency certifications that help present students’ learning outcomes and professional qualifications.
5. Actual certificate titles, levels, fees, and application procedures shall be subject to IAPC Asia regulations and course announcements.

It is recommended to avoid wording that is overly absolute, exaggerated, or likely to cause misunderstanding, such as “guaranteed international license,” “government-recognized,” “globally valid practice qualification,” “obtain a certificate without attending class,” “guaranteed employment,” or “guaranteed business success.”

8. Guidelines for Certificate Designs and Certificate Image Use

IAPC certificate designs are important brand assets of the association. Certificate holders may display their personal certificates within a reasonable scope to present their professional qualifications. Authorized trainers and partner institutions may display certificate samples or actual certificate examples approved by the association in enrollment explanations.

When using certificate images, the following principles should be observed:

1. Do not modify certificate content, names, dates, numbers, signatures, seals, or certification titles without authorization.
2. Do not display another person’s certificate as your own.
3. Do not use students’ certificates as enrollment materials without their clear consent.
4. Do not cause misunderstanding of certificate content through blurring, screenshot alteration, or collage methods.
5. Do not provide certificate designs to third parties for imitation, templating, or self-printing.
6. If displaying a sample certificate, clearly mark it as “Sample” to avoid it being mistaken for an actually issued certificate.
7. Do not use certificate images to claim qualifications, levels, or authorization beyond the actual scope.

9. Notes for Course Posters and Social Media Promotion

When authorized trainers or partner institutions create course posters, enrollment graphics, social media posts, video covers, brochures, or registration pages, they should ensure that IAPC-related wording and Logo use are accurate, and clearly present the following information:

1. Official course title.
2. Instructor’s name and authorized status.
3. Whether the course is an IAPC authorized course.
4. Whether students may apply for IAPC certificates after completing the course.
5. Certificate title and level that may be applied for.
6. Whether certificate fees are included in the course fee.
7. Requirements for certificate application.
8. Enrollment, refund, and course change information.
9. When necessary, state that IAPC certificates are professional competency certifications and are not government licenses or statutory qualifications.

The clearer the above information is, the more it can reduce student misunderstanding and protect the rights and interests of both instructors and the IAPC brand.

10. Guidelines for Partner Institutions

If a partner institution is authorized by IAPC Asia, it may use IAPC or IAPC Asia-related names and Logos within the scope of cooperation. When using brand assets, partner institutions should clearly indicate the nature of the cooperation and must not imply that they are IAPC official headquarters, a branch of IAPC Asia Headquarters, an exclusive agent, an official examination center, or a certificate-issuing unit unless corresponding written authorization has been obtained.

Partner institutions must not sub-authorize IAPC authorization to other third parties, add unapproved course programs on their own, or change certificate titles, levels, application requirements, or issuance procedures without authorization. If new courses, trainers, regions, partner organizations, or certificate programs need to be added, an application should be submitted to IAPC Asia in advance and confirmation obtained.

11. Membership Expiration, Authorization Expiration, and Brand Use

If the membership, authorization, or cooperation service status of a certificate holder, authorized trainer, or partner institution has expired, been suspended, terminated, or revoked, external promotional content should be adjusted according to the actual status. They must not continue to conduct enrollment, certificate applications, or cooperation promotion under the identity of valid authorization.

If expired membership or authorization needs to restore related services, membership continuation, authorization confirmation, or related procedures should be completed in accordance with IAPC Asia regulations. Before completion, users must not claim that they still have valid authorization or can apply for IAPC certificates for students.

12. Guidelines for Media and Third-Party Citation

If media, websites, blogs, social media accounts, research units, or third parties need to quote content from the IAPC Asia official website, Logos, certificate images, system descriptions, or related materials, the source should be clearly indicated, and the content must not be taken out of context, altered, distorted, or misleading.

If the use involves substantial quotation, commercial purposes, report production, video use, course materials, advertising materials, public presentations, or other purposes that may affect the rights and interests of the association, prior written consent from IAPC Asia should be obtained.

13. Examples of Incorrect Use

The following are common improper uses that should be avoided:

1. Holding only an individual certificate but claiming to be able to issue IAPC certificates for students.
2. Labeling a poster as an “IAPC International Certificate Course” without passing PFP course certification.
3. Privately placing the IAPC Logo on unauthorized course brochures.
4. Describing an IAPC certificate as a “government-recognized license” or “official occupational qualification.”
5. Using another person’s IAPC certificate image for enrollment promotion.
6. Modifying certificate content and displaying it as a sample.
7. Continuing to use expired or terminated authorization for enrollment promotion.
8. Claiming that “IAPC certificates can be obtained without attending class.”
9. Establishing an “IAPC branch,” “IAPC examination center,” or “IAPC authorized center” without authorization.
10. Selling products, services, or courses unrelated to the association in the name of IAPC.

14. Handling of Improper Use

If IAPC Asia discovers or receives a report that an individual or institution may have violated these Brand and Logo Usage Guidelines, the association may conduct verification according to the circumstances and take one or more of the following measures:

1. Require immediate correction, deletion, or removal of improper content.
2. Require cessation of use of the IAPC name, Logo, certificate design, or related brand assets.
3. Suspend acceptance of related certificate applications or subsequent services.
4. Suspend or terminate the qualifications of authorized trainers, course founders, or partner institutions.
5. Revoke or cancel related certificates, membership qualifications, or course authorization.
6. Issue official clarification or announcement when necessary.
7. Reserve the right to pursue civil, criminal, and other legal responsibilities in cases involving infringement, forgery, impersonation, fraud, or other major unlawful conduct.

When handling related matters, the association will primarily consider fact verification, protection of rights and interests, proportionality, and brand credibility.

15. How to Apply to Use the IAPC Logo or Brand Materials

If you wish to use the IAPC Logo or related brand materials for course enrollment, cooperation activities, media reports, institutional websites, event backdrops, advertising materials, presentation documents, or other formal purposes, it is recommended to contact IAPC Asia in advance and provide the following information:

1. Applicant name or institution name.
2. Contact information.
3. Purpose of use.
4. Platform or medium of use.
5. Expected period of use.
6. Logo, wording, certificate image, or related materials intended for use.

IAPC Asia will confirm the request based on the actual authorization status, purpose of use, accuracy of content, and brand image. Please do not use such materials publicly or commercially without approval.

16. Updates and Application of the Guidelines

These Brand and Logo Usage Guidelines apply to all IAPC Asia-related certificate holders, members, authorized trainers, course founders, partner institutions, applicants, media organizations, and third-party users.

IAPC Asia reserves the right to modify, supplement, or update these Guidelines at any time according to brand development, system updates, legal requirements, cooperation models, or actual management needs. A brand is the accumulation of trust; a Logo is the symbol of a system. Proper use of the IAPC brand and Logo is not only about visual consistency, but also about the credibility of certificates, the order of course authorization, the professional image of trainers, and the protection of students’ rights and interests.

IAPC Asia expects all certificate holders, authorized trainers, partner institutions, and related users to use the association’s brand assets with integrity, clarity, professionalism, and responsibility, and to jointly maintain the long-term value of the IAPC certification system.
